PHCC is the national organization for the plumbing, heating, and cooling industry, advancing the plumbing and HVACR field through legislative advocacy, education and training, and a broad array of member resources and services. It serves approximately 3,300 plumbing and HVACR open‑shop and union businesses and about 65,000 technicians, with members active in residential, commercial, new construction, industrial and service/repair segments. The association strengthens members’ reputations as professionals, emphasizes safety, reliability and environmental stewardship, and provides resources that help contractors grow their businesses while protecting public health and the environment. PHCC maintains a nationwide network of roughly 125 state and local affiliates, focuses on apprenticeship and workforce development, ethics, standards, and industry leadership, and is committed to an inclusive environment where all individuals can participate and contribute to the success of the industry.
